Family Worship Games is a free, non-commercial application created for families to enjoy Bible-themed games during Family Worship. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

When you create an account, we collect the following information:

  • Display name: shown to other players in game rooms
  • Avatar URL: if you sign in with Google, your profile photo may be used

We also collect basic usage data such as games played and scores to power features like game history and leaderboards.

How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To enable multiplayer game functionality
  • To display your name and scores in game rooms
  • To send optional email notifications (welcome emails, support ticket replies, newsletters you opt into)

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security with Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: database, authentication, and real-time features
  • Google OAuth: optional sign-in method
  • Resend: email delivery for notifications
  • Vercel: hosting and deployment

Email Communications

You may receive a welcome email when you sign up and notification emails for support ticket replies. Newsletter emails are opt-in only and you can manage your email preferences at any time from your account settings.

Children's Privacy

Family Worship Games is designed for families to use together. We recommend that children use this app under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Update or correct your information through your account settings
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Opt out of newsletter emails

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which will remove all your personal data.
